How long does it take to receive my order?

We ship the next business day, using First Class U.S. Mail. Orders are shipped from our Asheville, North Carolina fulfillment center. You can expect to receive your order within a few business days if you are in the Southeast and no more than ten business days anywhere else in the continental United States. Tack on a few more days for Hawaii, Alaska, and International orders.

For an additional charge you can have your order rushed. We use Federal Express 2-Day Service. You must place your order by noon Pacific Time and we will ship the following business day. Please keep in mind that an order placed on a Thursday will arrive the following Tuesday. Federal Express cannot deliver to Post Office box addresses.

 

Can I call in an order instead of ordering on the website?

Yes, please feel free to call us at (415) 221-1232. One of our Customer Service Representatives will be happy to provide assistance Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Pacific)

By calling in your order you can pay by credit card. We accept MasterCard or VISA only and need the CVV (the three digits on the back strip).

 

Can I buy MAD MAPS at my local retailer?

Yes, MAD MAPS are available at retailers across the country, including select bookstores, travel stores and motorcycle dealerships. Please call your local retailer ahead of time, as they may not carry every MAD MAPS title. You may also type in your zip code in our search engine under "Find a Retailer" at the lower right-hand corner of our home page. Be sure to ask them if they have the specific map you want as they may not carry our entire line of products.

 

How do you collect your scenic touring information?

Our maps feature hand-picked routes from our local MAD Scouts—road enthusiasts, motorcyclists, and travel journalists across the country—who know the roads better than anyone. Meet the MAD Scouts up close and personal!

With the help of our seasoned MAD Scouts, we carefully select the most scenic road trips across the country. We then test and document the routes, providing you with easy to follow turn-by-turn directions. We also offer an insider's guide to all the must-sees, quirky roadside attractions, and favorite local haunts along the way.

 

Are there any more maps expected in the future?

We are always in development of new products, so check our Web site often.

 

Are MAD MAPS routes available for my GPS unit?

The good news is that MAD MAPS has more routes and travel information than we can print! We are now offering our scenic tours in digital format for your GPS unit.

You can download our routes at www.garmin.com/madmaps.

For now, you must have either a Garmin zūmo or nüvi 7xx series unit, but  MAD MAPS will soon be available for a wide selection of Garmin and other GPS units. So, please come back and visit us often to find out more!

 

Which Garmin GPS units are currently compatible with MAD MAPS?

Zūmo devices; Nüvi 500, 700 and 705 series.
